About Bone’s Bags
Bone’s Bags is a one-man-show located in Pearl City, Hawaii and was started in 2008 by Viena Bone. Inspired by the overwhelming amount of
waste produced by plastic bags, Viena set out to make the world a better place – one reusable grocery bag at a time : ) With this idea, she started designing
and sewing reusable grocery bags out of her home. Having a
strong, aesthetic dislike for polypropylene (the material that is typically used ingrocery
store totes), Bone's Bags is committed to never using the material. Generally, all reusable shopping bags will strive to be more pleasing to the eye than
the average grocery logo bags.
While saving the world from plastic-bag waste is at the heart of Viena's goal, Bone's Bags also keeps things interesting
by making purses, totes, and handbags out of salvaged fabric and material. All purses and totes are usually one of a kind, and have so far, yet to be duplicated. Requests for different sizes and colors, or any other specifications are always welcome! Just send an email
to viena.bone@bonesbags.com and your wish will be our command.
